| Many Americans Fed up with Fad Diets

In America the week from Sept.23 to Sept.30 is celebrated as “America on the Move Week”. On this occasion a national survey has been organized and it is found that the Americans are losing their appetite for fad diets.
The survey points out that the people are not trying the specialized diet which they were trying five years ago. Men are more doubtful as compared to women about specialized diet.
In the survey 2339 adults took part of age 18 or older. By the poll results, it comes out that people thinks that eating less and being active are the key factor for a healthy life and healthy lifestyles of most of the people depend upon the business and government policies.
Some highlights of the other survey are:
Two-thirds of the people who took part in the survey admitted that they have started a new weight loss program at least once in the last five years. The efforts of sixty-five percent persons for losing weight have been failed.
It is found that the food and beverage companies should produce more choices and more affordable options for healthier foods.
The Three-quarters of persons who took part in the poll admitted that the government can play an important role in handling the obesity problem in the United State and provide the healthy lifestyles to the citizens.
