Supermarket rejects selling diet
pills to kids

Food Stores which has 274 markets across six states has
rejected the sale of diet supplements to buyers who are
below the age of 18. The new corporate policy was implemented
after the store received a complaint from the father of
a teenage girl who bought a bottle of diet pills from one
of their stores.
Every Food Stores cash counter now carries a sign, “Attention
Customers: You must be 18 years old to purchase certain
dietary supplements.” The super market has reprogrammed
their cash register computers in order to ask for ID when
the products are scanned. They have also picked 46 diet
products which needs age verification from customers before
it’s sold, beginning with Acutrim weight loss program
and ending with Xtreme Metabolife FX Caplets.
