New study, Diet Pills alone cannot
contain Obesity
September, 18, 2005
A new study conducted in United States ascertained that diet
pills like
Phentermine, Xenical or Meridia cannot assist total
weight loss on their own. Health experts commented, the weight
loss program has to be accompanied by behavioral and environmental
influences to promote helpful weight loss.
Currently there is no drug in the market which can aid
weight loss without cutting down the calories or increasing
exercise. Diet pills like Meridia acts on the brain to reduce
hunger where as Xenical, another weight loss drug influences
the enzyme that digests fat. Another group of drugs promoting
weight loss are appetite suppressants like Phentermine which
are not the apt solution for curbing obesity by themselves.
