Prescription medicines like Phentermine are being sold over the net without safeguards or controls. A report reveals the danger attached to peoples lives if the matter is not taken up seriously by the government.

The most advertised drugs in the net are Viagra, Phentermine, Xenical, Propecia and Adipex. There are also sub standard and counterfeit medicines which are sold online. The report calls for immediate action by the government in order to balance this dangerous growth by allowing High Street Pharmacies to offer a wide range of advice to help their customers. Around 2,300 sites sell drugs directly to the consumer and it is necessary that all websites comply with regulatory standards and require prescriptions for selling prescription drugs.
