Too little sleep can influence Obesity

People who sleep less than the required time are more prone
to serious diseases including cancer, diabetes, obesity
and heart related diseases. Sleep disruption affects hormones
and proteins which protect against many severe diseases.
A minimum of six to seven hours of sleep can relax the
body and give it proper rest to energize. Nearly 10,000
adults between the age group of 32 and 49 who sleep less
than seven hours a night were studied and results showed
that most of them fell in the obese category. Lack of sleep
also had associations with other diseases and risks individuals
to many more diseases. Health organizations often reveal
the importance of sleep and its role in preventing other
body ailments.
