16 Million Weight loss pills consumed in Thailand this year

People of Thailand who had the notion that they are overweight
have consumed over 16 million weight-loss pills so far this
year, and their non-prescription use has led to death and
other complications. The sudden rise in the usage of weight
loss pills has alarmed the medical authorities of the country.
To control this situation, Thailand's Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) is now set to propose control measures regarding the
misuse of weight-loss drugs following several deaths attributed
to complications arising from taking such drugs. Amongst
all the available diet pills, Phentermine, Xenical and Adipex
are the most popular. All of them help in losing weight
within a short span of time.
