Tenuate

Tenuate comes in two forms, Immediate release tablets and Controlled released tablets. It is highly addictive and should be used along with a behavior modification program. Tenuate is usually taken three times a day and blood pressure medications like Ismelin and Insulin cannot be taken with Tenuate. The magnitude of the weight loss will depend on the degree of caloric restriction and exercise schedules.

Tenuate dosage

  • Take the medicine about 30 minutes to one hour before the meals
  • Take the last dose at least 4 to 6 hours before bedtime

  • Restlessness
  • Nervousness
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Dry mouth
  • Irritations
Drug Precautions
  • An over dose of the medicine may cause serious side effects
  • Do not drive, operate machines or do anything else that could be dangerous until the pill gets used to the body
  • Pregnant and breast feeding women should stay away from Tenuate
