Phendimetrazine Drug Interactions
If the patient is taking high blood pressure medicine or MAO inhibitors (e.g., furazolidone, phenelzine, selegiline, tranylcypromine) or any other weight loss medicine, using Phendimetrazine is not safe. Avoid "stimulant" drugs that may increase the heart rate such as decongestants or caffeine. Decongestants are commonly found in over-the-counter cough and cold medicine.
