Ionamin

Ionamin is set in a resin matrix compound. It allows the Phentermine to release slowly into the system and has fewer side effects. Ionamin comes in 30mg and 15mg capsules and each capsule is labeled Ionamin. Appetite suppressants like Ionamin are not a substitute for proper diet. Use it together with a diet and exercise program.

Ionamin Dosage

  • Ionamin is taken one and a half hours before breakfast and it should be taken under a doctor's prescription
  • This medication may be taken with food as it can cause stomach upset
  • Do not crush, break or chew before swallowing

Drug Interactions

Certain drugs may interfere with Ionamin and should not be used along with this weight loss medication treatment:

  • Amantadine
  • Amphetamines
  • Caffeine
  • Chlophedianol
  • Cocaine
  • Medicine for asthma or other breathing problems
  • Medicine for colds, sinus problems, or hay fever or other allergies (including nose drops or sprays)
  • Methylphenidate
  • Nabilone
  • Pemoline Using these medicines with sympathomimetic appetite suppressants may increase the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant effects, such as irritability, nervousness, trembling or shaking, or trouble in sleeping

Note:

If the patient misses a dose of this medicine, skip the missed dose and continue with the regular dose. Ionamin should be kept out of the reach of children. Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not keep the medicine if it is outdated.
